About
R.E.A.C.H. to Connect with Your Students outlines five principles of emotionally intelligent conversations that will help educators connect with their students on a personal and professional level, leading to a stronger sense of belonging and well-being in the classroom and beyond. This workshop will explore how educators' beliefs, biases, and triggers impact their connection with students and how that connection can improve students' academic performance, emotional intelligence, and overall life satisfaction. In this session, we will provide a number of strategies on how you can increase your connection with your students through building rapport, engaging in authentic conversations, facilitating meaningful connections between students, expressing empathy as well as active listening. All participants will receive a certificate of completion after taking this workshop.
